The Nursing Department delivered scholarships worth 4 million won to eight multicultural families in Songpa-gu. Mothers from the families are Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese, and they live with elementary school- and middle school-aged children in rented apartment houses or long term deposit-based houses in the vicinity of AMC.
The scholarship award ceremony was held in the Songpa-gu Multicultural Families Support Center in Macheon-dong on December 20, 2016. Guests included AMC’s Vice President & CNO Kim Yeon-hee and Team Leader for Nursing Education & Administration Choi Jin-seon, who also serves as the president of the Songpa-gu Nursing Society.
The AMC Nursing Department, which belongs to the Songpa-gu Nursing Society, grants scholarships and is engaged in activities that share love with neighbors every year. They have also participated in volunteering activities in the community, sharing their nursing knowledge with Spongpa-gu residents through free counseling and lectures on health.
