|Medical Volunteering at Tanzania, Africa|

AMC’s medical volunteer team visited Tanzania, Africa, on February 3 to 12 to provide medical services. The team consisted of 37 members, including 6 doctors, 18 nurses, 2 pharmacists, and 9 students from the University of Ulsan College of Medicine, as well as Professor Ra Young-shin of the Department of Neurosurgery. The team set up clinic camps in a village church in Isole, the Katong Gulu health center, and the Illamella hospital ship to perform 54 blood tests, 78 urine tests, 59 ultrasound scannings, pain relief procedures, and surgical interventions for burns, wounds, and dressings on 2,183 residents of poor farming and fishing villages on the shores of Lake Victoria.
