Dr. Duk-Woo Park receives Distinguished Young Scientist Award at ACC12

Dr. Duk-Woo Park, an assistant professor in the Dept. of Cardiology, was awarded the Douglas P. Zipes
Distinguished Young Scientist Award at ACC12, the American College of Cardiology's 61st Annual Scientific
Session & Expo, held Mar. 24-27 in Chicago.

This honor is presented each year to just one young scientist in the world.

Dr. Park was recognized for his scholarly research achievements over the past five years and for his outstanding
contributions to the cardiovascular profession.
