The Asan International Visiting Scholars(Asan IViS) Program is a full-time, non-degree, observation program intended to share AMC's spirit to provide advanced medical care for the patients. This program is open to international physicians and to those with a diploma in a medical field.
Type A : for physicians from developed nations
Type B : for physicians from developing or economically underdeveloped nations
Type C : for residents
Type D : Corporate-sponsored
Type E : VIC-sponsored
Type F : Postdoctoral Research / Clinical Fellowship
The applicants should have a good understanding, both in writing and speaking, of either Korean or English. Those whose first language is not English must have adequate Korean or English skills. The observership can be terminated during the program if the applicant fails to communicate effectively with others while staying at AMC as a visiting scholar. (English test scores such as TOEIC/ IELTS or a telephone interview may be required during the application process.)
With an extensive network of medical professionals both at home and abroad through the Asan IViS Program, AMC is networking intensively in order to be able to conduct cutting edge clinical and basic research on a multi-disciplinary basis so as to provide high-quality and patient-focused care for all.
