Kim, Young-hak, director of the Health Innovation and Big Data Center, presents at the HIMSS AsiaPac on the subject of
“Korea’s AI-based blueprint for medical service.”
AMC is involved in a project developing an AI-based precision medical solution, Dr. Answer, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Dr. Answer is a service that connects and analyzes various medical data to support disease prediction, diagnosis, and treatment according to individual characteristics. Twenty-six medical institutions and twenty-two ICT & software companies formed a consortium, K-DaSH (Korea Data and Software-driven Healthcare Consortium) and developed twenty-one software for eight diseases. AMC has recently made three software developments: diagnosis of coronary artery calcification score, prediction of cardiovascular disease recurrence, and interpretation of hearing loss genetic mutation.
Meanwhile, Kim, Young-hak, director of the Health Innovation and Big Data Center, delivered a lecture on Dr. Answer’s development at the Health Information Management System Society (HIMSS) AsiaPac, held in Thailand from October 7 to 9.
