International Healthcare Center
Since its establishment in 1989, the International Healthcare Center has focused on providing primary care services to non-Korean residents and visitors in Korea.
Today, with the outstanding treatment outcomes of Asan Medical Center being featured in various international media, the number of patients from abroad, including the United States, Russia, Mongolia, and the Middle East, has grown significantly.
We have established a dedicated International Referral Team that provides coordination, interpretation, and billing services to ensure a seamless experience for international patients from their arrival to return.
In addition, the center offers medical checkups and the issuance of English-language documents for Koreans preparing for study abroad or employment overseas.
The four main services provided by AMC International Healthcare Center are:
- Treatment by specialized physicians who can communicate in English or Japanese at a native speaker level.
- A team of international patient-dedicated nurses and administrative professionals who provide the highest level of coordination services.
- Native speakers of Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Mongolian, and Vietnamese who provide seamless interpretation and coordination services.
- We provide English medical documentation services for visa medical checkups, including those for Israeli working holiday and E-2 visas.
AMC International Healthcare Center supports international patients of various races, languages, cultures, and nationalities so that they can receive treatment smoothly. Additionally, it conducts visa physical examinations for studying or training abroad.

International Healthcare Services
AMC International Healthcare Center (IHC) offers a one-stop total care service for international patients such as appointments for treatment and examinations, billing, admission and discharge, medical reports and issuing CDs, etc.
Language Assistance
AMC International Healthcare Center provides in-hospital concierge services. We offer English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, Mongolian, and Vietnamese translation, escort, and counseling services throughout the overall medical process from appointment, treatment, billing, examination, and administration.
Billing & Insurance
For most organizations, we can arrange direct billing services. Whenever you visit our hospital, our administrators can bill your embassies or your insurance companies directly.
