Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty involving the diagnosis and treatment of tumors (benign and malign) in the uterus or uterine appendages in relation to every aspect of reproduction and pregnancy which may occur in women at any time during their whole life from preadolescence to postmenopause.

Our main goal is to take care of the health of women throughout their entire life from birth to death.

About GB/GYN Class

The GB/GYN Class at the University of Ulsan College of Medicine opened when AMC was established in 1989. The first chief was Professor Mok Jung-eun. As the Ulsan University Hospital launched the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in March 1997, the GB/GYN Class has grown both in the qualitative and quantitative aspects of treatment and education.

The Class is divided into three divisions, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM), and infertility & reproductive endocrinology. It is dedicated to treatment, research, and education.
