The Department of Hematology aims at offering optimized treatment to patients suffering from a variety of hematologic diseases,

leading innovative research, and providing a systematic effective training program for resident physicians and medical students.

We computerized treatment protocols of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) as well as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodyplastic syndrome, and aplastic anemia to allow each patient to receive optimal treatment, and introduced the latest therapies including haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation to deliver super-specialized medical services.

Even in terms of research, we conduct basic studies as well as clinical research on carcinogenic genes, immunotherapy, gene therapy, unrelated bone marrow transplantation, haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and NK cell therapy to produce remarkable results which are often published in domestic and international journals. We also work hard training medical students, resident physicians, and fellow physicians through systematic programs.
