AMC Heart Failure & Cardiac Transplantation Center performs more than 60 heart transplantations a year since the first success of heart transplantation in Korea in 1992. The success rate is the world’s highest with more than 96%. The center also directly transports patients on heart-lung machine from other medical institutions to treat heart failure (medical care and heart transplantation), provides fast and safe emergency medical services through a 24-hour emergency medical service system, and strives to contribute to medical advancement and train medical professionals through research activities and education programs.

The Heart Failure & Cardiac Transplantation Center provides treatment support services such as a one-day program, fast-track system, counseling for heart diseases and reservation system, and language support program.
